Oh wait, okay, Livejournal huh.
Long time no sees.
I thought I might update the faceless internet masses with what my life is today.
I ate a pack of gummi snakes (the starburst kind) for lunch, which probably was not healthy.
I got some kind of new job at the Northern Star Cafe on Beaumont Street, Hamilton, kind of by accident (Peta, Jesse, I dunno if you went there on your Hamilton Travels, it is a tiny Italian cafe on the main street, right next to the Hogs Breath). I was happily working my few-months-old barista job at the John Hunter Hospital (because it has a proper neat little Starbucksy-style cafe thingy now) when I got a call from a lady saying "Hey! Remember this job you applied for months ago and didn't get because we offered to call you later and set up a trial shift and we never got around to it? One of our waitresses is going home to England so do you want her spot?"
So I got her spot and damned if it isn't the best job I've ever had (also I get hella tips). Weird how stuff like that tends to happen to me.
I am in negotiations currently with a nice girl about moving into a sharehouse, which conveniently already has live in friend in the form of a Shoey, and a little black kitten called Gizmo. We will see how that turns out.
I bought some really good smelling candles and they are in my room making it smell pretty.
I realised yesterday that I had far too much money and so went and bid on way too many useless things on eBay and also spent a packet on brand new makeup and lotions and potions for extra prettifying.
Matt's dad's fiancee is due to have her baby in 7 weeks. New sibling omg! Matt is terrified. I am excited.
I got a new camera a couple of weeks ago, which I love but I haven't actually had the time or energy (okay, I mean I couldn't be bothered getting off my butt) to go out and take any nice pictures, so maybe I will do that this afternoon.
So yeah um, things are pretty neat.
I hope things are neat in Internet-land too.
