Seriously.
Can you believe I'm updating this? I think my LJ said it was like 16 weeks since my last post? WTF? I'm on a sick day, I think I have a sinus infection. Fuck it, I haven't taken a sick day since February.
2 Wednesdays ago I turned 26. How does it feel? Same as it did 2 Tuesdays ago. Just like my dad always says.
Shannon and I have been talking about getting married. Before anyone starts on me, I'm not making the same mistake twice. Shannon's great. The girl's crazy about me and we've been living together for just about a year and a half, so honestly it wouldn't be too different. Our taxes would be a little easier. Maybe we can consolidate the bank accounts. Plus, it won't be happening for awhile (we're thinking May '09), because we need to save some serious cash. We have made a prospective guest list and we have just under 150 people, which is better than the 200 we had when we started.
So, my next point of interest... we need suggestions. Banquet halls, caterers, ANYTHING!
I still like my job, which is amazing. Usually I'm pissed and bored by now, and looking for something else. Although, I could go for a new job in October. And I do hate taking the bus to work. Dammit.
