Update-ish

So here's shit that's happened that I keep forgetting to bring up. I'll keep it brief so as to iniate better conversation:

*my 18 year old nephew Julian apparently ran away to Newfoundland about three weeks ago, but I only found out last week. Apparently he really likes it there, and is doing odd jobs. His reason: the truth is largely unknown, but he says he needed peace. Family speculation: doesn't want to be called as a witness in regards to the shooting death of a friend of his this past summer. Discuss.

and how do I follow this up? Well, with nothing spectacular. It was just the most explosive news so I went with it first. However:

other then the fact that I just had a freak out over my contact lens rolling into the back of my eyeball, unretrieveable for almost an hour that culminated in my parents coming over to try to help me out, nothing else exciting or really really weird been's up worth mentioning. I've been volunteering as a gallery monitor at the AGYU, working away at school projects like my comic panel thingy, and as we all know, work work work. Speaking of which, item number two:

*do y'all remember me bitching about how Meron Woldeselassie has repeatedly come into Fran's and pretended not to know me after attending elementary, high school, and starting university together plus living down the block from me? Well, it turns out the bitch works in the spa in the hotel that Fran's is attached to. And even though in general Fran's and Pantages' relations are bad, even the other hotel people hate everyone from the Spa. Bitch is gonna look down on me for serving, when she works in a SPA! Not that there's anything wrong with working in a spa, but it's hardly a jump of priviledged class position from serving in a diner. I have no doubt that I make more money than she does. Discuss.

So much for brief. Now it's time for bed. Not my most eloquant post, but this is what you get when I've been engaged in a battle for vision with my contact lenses while at the same time arguing anti-racist feminist perspectives with Milena on MSN. Suck it, bitches. You know you love me.

OUT!
