[Garvi blinks. His face shifts for a moment. The response from the tiny little golden-haired man causes him to almost laugh.]
"I'm sorry... mongrel?" [he shifts his weight slightly.] "Are you a menial for the Emperor's children? I didn't know their servants had grown so bold."
"Who are you to speak of worth? You seem entirely self-interested. Worth is derived by what you do for others, for humanity, not what others bring to you."
And that exact definition is why I, Gilgamesh, am the King of Heroes! I have brought civilization to humans. I have released them from all attachments to gods. If it were not for these two hands, you would still be huddled around a fire inside a woolen tent, privy to have the gods interrupt your every moment in life. Humanity owes me everything.
"That is a worthy deed. Particularly releasing them to attachments to such outmoded things as gods. Perhaps you and I have more in common than I thought. Still, you speak as though your service entitles you to special treatment. That is a dangerous road to go down. I have seen -many- great men fall to their own overweening pride."
[he folds his arms over his chest.]
"It is perhaps unfortunate that you have not met the Emperor, you may have found in him a like mind."

"So why is a king here anyway? I notice a lack of retinue or menials with you." [his eyes narrow slightly]
"Or are you like all the kings I encounter. Cast down."
[A smile forms on his face.]

And if you wish to cast me down, you may try but I assure you, your death will be instant.
