The raven's perched in a tree somewhat nearby; busy preening. Preening was a very important business, didn't you know. She's even got all three legs out to balance herself as she contorts around to get at the feathers on the ends of her wings, and her eyes are red.

She had looked up when she heard the noise.]

[ Garviel looks up at the Raven, and muses to himself. ] The totem of Corax... [ He blinks at the three legs, and says. ] But you're not a bird generated by the town. Are you? Not with three legs, at least.

[After a moment, Okuu pauses in her preening routine and, after another moment, shakes her head back and forth. That was how people without beaks said no, right?

She caws a bit in emphasis anyway.]

[ The Astartes stands, and walks over to Okuu, holding up a gauntleted hand to the odd Raven, letting her alight and preen there, if she wishes, obviously intrigued. ]

[At first, Utsuho puffs her feathers out a bit, drawing her head back slightly. She has less than pleasant memories of armored hands larger than herself, and at the moment this fits the bill.

...but when nothing happens, the raven's confidence comes back somewhat. She flutters off of her perch and alights a bit cautiously on that hand; one foot, two, and the third hovering away still.]

[ Garviel considers for a moment, then asks Utsuho. ]

Hm, are you someone's familiar, like Ruby or Arf?

[Her bill wiggles for a moment, considering this.
