11 PM, backdated to Wednesday night. Action 1, locked to 2237 Stevens Residents: [ Garviel awakens after a day of droning, and the awakening is not a gentle one. A yell of pain can be heard, and then silence, aside from his heavy steps as he descends the stairs of the home and swiftly armors himself in his Astartes plate without a word to anyone

[Garviel looks at Yuna, halfway into his armor. His expression is one of intense pain, and almost primal anger.]

[Just... backing up a step in case.]

[He sags for a moment, then begins to case himself in plate.]

I must re-familiarize myself with the locale.

...How long were you home? What happened back there?

Several months. I.... died, only I did not. Instead, I went mad, and was trapped on a world full of daemons and dead things until my Astartes brothers came to save me.

I nearly killed them, because I was so lost in grief and anger.

That sounds really terrible.

They saved me. So the end is good.

But the continuation is that I'm still stuck here. I must find a way to get us all where we belong. All of us.

Re-organizing things, for a start. We have to get a clear idea of everyone's talents and skills.

There was. The Major-General had a resistance of sorts going on... but I suspect it may be coming loose. Perhaps I should...

While I was a Captain, and a leader of men, I prefer to advise the supreme commander. Not out of fear of failure, but rather out of respect for already existing command structure.

With none around... I may have to forge what I can.

Yes. I may well have to take charge.

That is appreciated, and I shall hold you to it, in time. [ Garviel hesitates for a moment. ] I would by quite sad to see you hurt, though. Not because I think you're an incapable fighter, but rather... because you are so very young.
