[Crowe's out in his yard, cleaning up various shrapnel and not looking too happy about it. He's piling it near the fence when he sees the giant suit of armor. Have some staring, Garvi.]

[The giant suit of armor waves to Crowe.]

"Ah, Hello Crowe."

[says Garviel's voice through his augmitters.]

O-Oh, Garviel? That's you in there? Wow, that's... impressive.

"Is it? I have grown used to wearing it over the last century. I felt like half of a man without it."

[says the guy who weighs half a ton with his armor on.]

You look like a walking tank. It's a wonder you can walk in it.

"It is actually quite easy to move in. The armor is powered, and as such I actually move more quickly within it. It even enhances my reaction time a bit."

[he removes his helmet.]

I see... that's really incredible. It'll be a good thing to have, in this place.

"Yes. It kept me alive long enough to do what needed to be done."

[He nods.] Did you, ah, make it though this whole... ordeal alright?

"I was slain by the milkman after blasting a breach in his robot. I assume this is part of what helped destroy it, in the end."

I-I'm sorry. But at least you did manage to take it down. It'll be good to have some peace here again, for h-however long it might last...

"Agreed. I was thinking once things are cleaned up and calmed down a bit, that you and some other friends of mine might join me for a celebratory feast of sorts?"

[Crowe looks away for a moment, thinking. Considering what he found out about the vat in the dairy, still having photos of it himself, Crowe hardly felt like celebrating. But it would probably do good in cheering others up, so he shrugs a bit and nods.]

Sure.

[Garviel is pretty good at reading people, and so he says.]

"In war, this is sometimes as good at it will get. Take what you can, and comfort yourself with the fact we did win something of a victory. We saved many friends who were droned within the vat. I saved my wife, and one other that I knew personally. A fellow warrior."

[His emotions let go, and for a moment he turns bitter, and desperate.]

Do you know that? Do you know that for sure? That those souls are okay? I-I've been here a long time, I've had a lot of close friends droned for good, and I can't... i-it makes me sick to know that's what had happened to them!

[He shakes it off.] I-I'm sorry. I know everyone just... did their best. It's no one's fault but Mayfield's.

"Precisely so. We must now think of how best to deal with the new situation, once we have a better idea of what all it entails. I believe we have significantly changed Mayfield in some way, but the question is.... how?"
