[This has not been Garviel's day. Really it just hasn't. He's been stabbed through his primary heart, had some jerkass steal his identity, and then left with the check of an eat and run. He stands up, settles his bill, and stumbles out of the diner, still bleeding from a jagged hole in his back, which is quickly scabbing over into a blood-seal.]

[his face seizes into a mask of pain and anger.]
"He pierced my primary heart, and cracked my rib-plate, I believe."

"I have two, yes. However... I can't self-diagnose well without my battle-plate." [he coughs, and spits out a pink fluid.]
[The stab was clearly made by a skilled knife-fighter, that much is certain. It would have probably killed a normal man. Too bad Emiya didn't have a secondary heart like this.]

"You're no gentle apothecary." [he ventures a smile at her.]
"But that is alright. You were honest about the nature of your ministrations."

"Thank you, Mamzel Rin. I am in your debt." [he stands, and begins to shrug back into his shirt and coat.]

"You sound like me talking to Saber."
[he slowly begins to walk again, towards his home.]
"I would not crush a human out of anger, that would defeat the entire purpose of my existence. I am here to protect humanity, not destroy it. But I certainly understand your concern."
[he sighs a bit after those words though, remembering the corruption and fall of his fellow astartes vividly, now.]

"I know Astartes like myself who have lost control. They're the traitors. I... had to kill some of them, eventually. I can not imagine a war more bitter than fighting your own brothers."
[regarding Saber.]
"She is known to me, yes. She intrigues me. Noble, strong, and yet there is something of the vulnerable about her. I can't say I quite understand it. She interested me with what she told me about herself, I'd love know of the wars she fought."
