Drumming Song Vid Rec
Okay guys. So, I first heard this song 3 weeks ago when I bought the Florence and the Machine "Lungs" album, and the second I heard Drumming Song, I knew that there HAD to be Master videos for it.
Now, I am a hardcore Doctor Who fan (obviously) and I love all 11 incarnations of the Doctor and I feel like I should be at some sort of "anonymous" meeting to admit this but...
.....I LOVE THE MASTER MORE THAN THE DOCTOR. It's my horrible fandom secret okay? *shhh* Don't tell anyone. I know he's the bad guy and all, but...IT'S JOHN SIMM AND THE MASTER IS EVEN MORE INSANE THAN WALTER BISHOP AND DESPITE HIS HATRED OF HUMANITY AND THE DOCTOR HE ALSO SEEMS TO LOVE THEM BOTH AND I CAN'T HELP MYSELF.
But mostly I just love him cos he's insane and you kind of find yourself rooting for him and hoping he succeeds in destroying the world cos he just has this...charisma about him. PLUS, JOHN SIMM. There is literally NO MAN on Earth that I love more, except maybe my Daddy.
Anyway, sure enough, there were plenty of vids for the Master to this song (what with the Master always hearing the Drums of War beating in his head, driving him crazy for his entire existence *huggles her crazy Master*). I looked at ALL OF THEM. There was a really good Master/Lucy one (that included clips of John Simm in UK Life On Mars to coincide with the song), but in the end, I decided to rec this one. Now, it's classified as Master/Doctor, but not necessarily in a romantic sense (thank God). Now, I have nothing against slash, but I'm not a Master/Doctor fan (cos the two are frenemies and it's just weird), plus I'm a Doctor/Rose fan across the board. But, it was a good vid and can be seen as a friend vid.
