Banzai-Tron, you mean? Given that he was a high-ranking officer in the Decepticon Secret Service, he might merit a trial. Arcee left him to die facing Monstructor. So I will assume that he is angry at Arcee. However, I recall that he had a healthy respect for her, too. So I want to say that he somehow gets out of his trial alive by calling in some secrets he happens to know, he gets wind of Arcee being around even though her existence is officially denied, and he decides to track her down via some intermediaries. Over the course of several issues, the intermediaries keep... vanishing. Eventually however, one manages to see her and reports back to Banzai-Tron. He concocts a scheme to lure her into the open using himself as the bait, which succeeds, leaving Prowl with the unenviable task of explaining why he has a pet assassin. The threat looms of many of Prowl's other assassinations coming out into the light, too.

Carnivac! He rejects your corrupt coalition government, and he takes matters into his own hands! When his new Autobot drinking buddy Catilla is murdered by a gang, Carnvac gets his paws dirty and goes completely Punisher on the gang. Then he has to evade police custody.

Damn, I did not realize Banzai-Tron was already "in use". I specifically picked him because I figured that with a name as stupid as his, surely he'd have been left alone!

*Laughs!* Banzai-Tron had a fairly large role in early IDW. He was relatively cool.

Actually, let me expand on Carnivac.

In one issue, he would be at what is essentially an energon soup kitchen for the poor. He is in line. Catilla is a volunteer handing out shoddy energon rations. Carnivac claims that the energon is so bad, the Autobots are just trying to poison the remaining Decepticons. Catilla genially tries the energon, claiming it can't be so bad, and just about throws up, but he swallows it down. Cue laughs and grudging respect.

Next issue, we see both Catilla and Carnivac working together at the 'soup kitchen', looking like they get along, while other character do something else in the foreground. (Maybe Streetwise is questioning Misfire.)

Next issue, we open with, "Catilla's tanks could only hold 400 astro-quarts. For that, my friend lost his life," and we follow Carnivac on his revenge spree. A bystander asks if Carnivac is going to use the energon and parts in one of the ganga members he just killed or if he's just going to let it go to waste. Carnivac reacts with disgust and runs off, letting the bystander take the energon, who comments that it seemed like an awful shame. Law enforcement chases Carnivac, with the bystander as an initial red herring.

Carnivac continues to vigilante on and off in later issues.
