Side-effects
A medication that I take has the side-effect of making me irritable. For some reason, my doctor did not see fit to warn me about it. Yeah, I know it's my duty to read side-effects. I goofed.
Anyway, this explains so much about me.
Also, telling people that they are irritable when they are already clearly irritated is not helpful. It is like poking a bear.
