Oh, the weather outside is weather...
So I just had a lovely visit with Greg and Wendy! Yay!
They arrived Wednesday a lot earlier than I thought, at about 1pm. And then I tried to rack my brain to think of fun things to do in Rhode Island. It was pretty tough. We started off in Oakland Beach, and we got doughboys from Iggys, Del's lemonade from the lemonade truck, and walked on the rocks on Oakland Beach because those are very Rhode Island-y things to do. The doughboys were amazing the lemonade delicious. I actually can't remember the last time before that that I had Del's lemonade. After that we went to the mall, then we were off to Warwick City Park - another place I haven't visited in a long time. It was surprising easy to find. Following that, we needed to kill some time before it was time to bring Wendy to Panera Bread so she could meet up with a friend of hers. Soooo what else would we do but LOOK AT BOOKS. Yes, we went to Barnes and Noble. Then we dropped Wendy off, and went off in search of Quiznos, which had apparently closed in the past two weeks. Which then drove us into a state of depression and we drove around for about an hour trying to figure out where to eat. We ended up at Taco Bell. Yay! Then we picked Wendy back up. Uhhh... then I think we just went back to the house and watched some movies!
Yesterday it started off pretty rainy, so we went to Wickford for a bit. But it ended up clearing up and getting really hot out, so we went back to the house and picked up our beach stuff and went to Scarborough. I really thought I was going to die because the waves were so rough. So I went in for a little bit, and then I took a nap. We ended up leaving about 5:30 or so. Then we went back to Warwick, changed, and went to Chelo's.
All in all, it was a good time.
