Hiya there (: Chances are, if you're here, you stumbled on over from my fanfiction.net. profile. I am known as "butterflie" there, formerly Crimson Goddess (formerly Sexy Lemon Authoress (briefly T.K's Girl)). Don't worry, "butterflie" is staying from now on.
I originally created this fic journal because I wanted to leave ffnet, as I find their site frustrating and many of their policies stupid, but for whatever reason I kept posting there anyways. Still do, but the versions there are often the most outdated in regards to formatting, typos, and author notes. For a long time, this journal used to get fic posted here first, but that isn't really the case so much anymore. However, this does house a few fics that aren't yet posted anywhere else.
All fanfiction in this journal is both tagged and indexed, so you can choose the method you prefer. The memories are outdated, and are no longer being used. All completed fanfic is public and always will be, barring anymore stupid LJ kerfluffles like '07 strikethrough. Story ideas, notes, original character profiles, outlines, and rough draft pieces are sometimes posted under friendslock. If you are interested in those, you can drop a comment asking me to friend you, or you can simply friend me. I'll friend you either way, no questions asked (:
As a last note, yes, comments on fanfiction are disabled. I've gotten into it with people over this issue, but the truth is, I'm not interested in feedback. Negative or positive. Not that positive is bad, but some people can't understand that there are other people out there who are simply not interested in concrit and are only posting for fun. Not to mention, a lot of rants on ffnet about reviews just made the review aspect of fanfiction really negative in general for me, and after awhile I got sick of the whole issue that I just disabled reviews altogether where possible.
Honestly, I am happy enough posting my work and knowing that someone out there will probably enjoy it. And if not, that's okay too. I had fun writing it, and that's really the most important thing.
So yes, all I ask is to please respect my wishes, and don't hassle about me this. My system works for me. Thank you <3
