Yawn. I have a list of things I should be doing but the idea that I have three more days to get things done is too tempting.
I am currently listening to my music loudly on headphones to avoid the imminent knock on the door concerning people wanting to see the room. They can go die. I'm still a bit mad that I can't even get a room because they were all gone by the time my selection time came around.
I can just not answer the door even if I hear it, but this just gives me a valid excuse. :3 The problem is escaping for my laundry. I don't want to be seen. >.>
I went food shopping today, which is exciting because I can now EAT. Whee~
Also Anime Punch was most excellent again, I'm already excited for next year XP Not much to talk about right now because I promised this other story.
Oh yeah, Contra. Basically, I got busted for being a pirate. It was pretty nerve-wracking for a day, until I found out that the IT guys couldn't give half a shit what I download, and that I can go reinstall my programs whenever I want as long as I don't use them on the network here. Also the one guy was like, "You didn't have to delete your music!" to which I replied, "They're off the computer, but they're still on an external drive." Which he approved of.
Aaanyway, during my nervous breakdown (which in retrospect was really funny), I voiced such fears as being kidnapped and tortured by Metallica while all my downloaded items were removed from my computer.
And, having such files on my dear computer, I realized that it was, effectively, contraband.
Hence, the name. I've been waiting for its name to come to me ever since I got it. My first desktop was Vanderkaum for obvious reasons (it was stubborn, loud, and crashed a lot). My first laptop was Vanderkaum 2.0 because it was very similar in those respects. Not that I hated those computers. I loved them dearly.
This one had been tentatively named Alita because it's black, silver, sexy, and bitchy. But it wasn't quite right, you know? But then this happened, and it just came to me. Thus, Contra. It's still genderless, however. It will probably remain that way.
So Garance knew what I was talking about because we're in the same class and so she knows all about the whole thing. :3
Speaking of Garance...I have to meet her in the library tomorrow and get my ass working on Dante...or else I shall stab myself. Or make someone else do it.
I'm slaaaacking offfff auuughhhhhh
I want to make LJ icons...because you know that's productive.
