With the additional assistance from Tyson, Jericho and Trish the prank war is finally ended. And after the fragile male egos have recovered, slightly, life on the road returns to normal. Or as normal as possible given that they work for the WWE, not that any of them were really poster children for normalcy to begin with... And for Lita and Randy it means continuing their successful reign as champions.
After a busy set of house shows, they head back to the hotel, intending to shower and then meet up with their friends for dinner.
Lita is already in the bathroom adjusting the water, leaving Randy to answer the door. He’s just managed to grab one of the hotel issued bathrobes, quickly tying the belt before opening the door a fraction.
“What do you want, Cena?”
“Bro… why aren’t you wearing pants?”
Randy rolled his eyes, “maybe because we’re about to take a shower.”
John shuddered a little and then smirked, “next time ya decide to answer the door in a bathrobe, make sure it’s our better lookin’ half.”
“Was there a point to this?”
“We’re all waiting in the lobby and wondering why y’all ain’t down there yet.”
“Well now you know. Give us half an hour and we’ll be downstairs.”
John was opening his mouth to reply to that when Lita’s hand appeared, waving good-bye to the West Newbury native before shutting the door.
