Summary: Really, it was only a matter of time..

To the combined chagrin of John and Randy, Adam decides that their shrieks and high pitched screams are perfect as custom ringtones for whenever they decide to call; the blonde Canadian programming his phone after he’s recovered from laughing. It’s taken Lita a great amount of self-control to not burst out laughing, the redhead doing her best to remain sympathetic towards her boyfriend’s plight. Mickie, however, is far from benevolent; the brunette taking the initiative to share a video clip of the prank.
Suffice it to say, the evening in ends when Adam and Mickie are able to recover; John muttering under his breath about conniving Canadians as he leaves with the aforementioned pair. There’s still enough room service to feed a small army, Lita taking a seat on the couch while Randy leans against the now closed door.
“Did you have anything to do with that?”
“What makes you think that?”
Randy shrugged his shoulders, the third generation wrestler clearly unsettled as he resumed his previous spot on the bed, “oh I don’t know… maybe because you and Copeland were attached at the hip… thick as thieves, partners in crime?”
Lita rolled her eyes, “you’re right, we were best friends and I would still consider Ads to be one of my closest friends but that doesn’t mean that I had anything to do with this.” She turned her body so she was facing him, “the room service is getting cold but if you want to keep pouting and sulking, be my guest.”
She doesn’t mean to sound completely heartless and he knows that she’s not. Lita also realizes that Randy needs to get over this on his own terms and if that means sulking like a three year old, then so be it.
Sooner or later he’ll be scheming and plotting the next prank… and Lita will more than likely be helping him with every step.
