Budapest, Hungary - October 1st, 2012
With the exception of the two sisters, the remaining members of the Founding family had not seen each other willingly in nearly a century. With their parents, the matriarch and patriarch, in official hibernation; the main ruling body now consisted of the siblings.
The eldest two, boys separated by only one year Scott and Paul, as different as night and day; both in personality and in appearance for while Paul had inherited their father’s fair hair, Scott had inherited their mother’s dark locks. Then the eldest daughter arrived, Victoria, another with their mother’s dark ringlets and their father’s looks. And then the final two arrived, twins, Alexander and Amy. Technically, as Amy would be quick to point out, she was the oldest by just a few minutes; though with her being the youngest daughter her older brothers were even more protective with her than with Victoria.
Throughout the centuries that they’d walked this earth, the siblings had their fair share of disagreements and most of the time they were able to get over those arguments.
But now, with the looming date of October 31st quickly approaching and the bridge between the realms soon to open; the family would meet again to make a decision on the latest prophecy. A new group of potential beings, mostly female and some male, and all would need to be decided on individually.
First the invitation would need to be extended, a sub-conscious decision only, but one that would allow a member of the founding family to enter the potential beings life for a span of one year. And during that year, their true potential would be tested to determine if they were truly fit to become a member of their society. To take the next step and transcend into the realm of immortal beings.
But first things first, before any of that could begin, the founding family had to convene.
And if their last meeting was any indication to go by, this family reunion would be anything but happy.
