They all survive the baseball game and decide to head to Chelsea Piers, with intentions of getting pizza before they head to the radio station. On the way there, Alex and Amy get into an argument that also involves Josh and Jamie because they’re jumping in on behalf of their friends.
“I’m not doubting that you’re good, but I’m better.”
“We’ll see about that, big mouth.” Amy crossed her arms, the redhead and Alex seated in the secondary row of the company owned SUV.
Alex mimicked her, “I’m just trying to save you some cash and embarrassment, toots.”
Amy arched an eyebrow, “what did you just call me?”
“You heard me.”
“We’ll see who’s the ‘toots’ in this after you’re eating your words, boy.”
Alex rolled his eyes, “yeah, yeah, whatever.”
Jamie whistled under her breath, “is your friend always like that?”
Chris smiled a little, “only on days that end with y and only in months that have at least 28 days.”
The blonde woman rolled her eyes at that, the remainder of the drive continuing in semi-silence save for the continual bickering between Alex and Amy.
