Tags On Saturday, the four had their first non-radio show appearance together; Eric deciding that they would go to a Yankees game in the afternoon and then to Chelsea Piers before reporting to the studio. They were expected to take a camcorder with them to Chelsea Piers to obtain content for their YouTube channel.
They’d decided that Alex would have one camera while Amy would take the other, and as much as they wanted to split up for the entire evening, they knew that they couldn’t.
But, first things first, they had to get through the baseball game, Jamie the most enthusiastic, by far. Amy had at least brought a book with her, selecting The New Dead for the occasion, along with her iPod, though when she tried to read; she found another body trying to read over her shoulder.
“Do you mind?”
“I’m bored.”
Amy sighed, shutting the book, “so? That doesn’t mean you have to be in my personal bubble.”
Alex grumbled, the brunette seated behind her, “then can I borrow your book?”
Amy scoffed, “no because it’s my book.”
Alex poked her shoulder with his index finger, “but I’m bored.”
“Tough shit,” Amy said, keeping the book closed and on her lap. “I’m not your babysitter.”
He couldn’t bug Chris because the blonde male had brought along a Game Boy Advance and was already engrossed in playing Final Fantasy VI. Jamie, obviously, was also occupied as she was intently watching the game.
Sighing in an overdramatic fashion, Alex leaned back in his seat, feet kicked up.
“Oh for goodness sake, get your feet off the back of my chair.”
“Nope.”
“Pain in the ass.”
“Is that the best you can do?”
Amy removed her sunglasses, book in hand as she reached around to whack his knee. “Can’t you act your age instead of your shoe size?”
Alex shrugged, “I could, but that doesn’t mean that I will,” a beat passed, “I already told you, I’m bored.”
Amy pinched the bridge of her nose, putting her book back inside of her tote bag. “J, I’m going to take a walk.”
She didn’t invite him specifically but Alex wasn’t about to stay behind and watch some stupid baseball game, either.
