Memories ::
Tags Jamie and Josh headed over to A.J and Amy’s apartment both to check on Amy and to also make sure that Amy hadn’t attempted to kill Jay. Jamie hadn’t heard from her brother since she had called him earlier that day, but she also wouldn’t be too surprised if Jay was just too occupied with video games to call.
Suffice it to say, Jamie was more than a little surprised when she entered the den to find Jay and Amy rather caught up in playing a co-op game of Resident Evil; the two happily killing the undead enemies like a well-oiled machine.
“Well at least they aren’t killing each other,” Josh offered as he stood near the door with Jamie.
“No, that is true…” Jamie agreed, closing the door shortly, “I was going to hang out here but it seems like he’s got the situation under control.”
Josh nodded, the blonde man running a hand through his hair, “do you want to head back to my place?”
Jamie pretended to think about it for a moment before agreeing, the two heading out of the apartment and leaving Jay and Amy to their own devices. Before they left, Jamie texted A.J to let him know that Amy was doing much better, enabling A.J to stay at Karen’s for the night.
“You don’t have to stay, you know.”
“I know.”
Jay and Amy were taking a break to eat and to rest their thumbs from extensive button mashing; the pair currently making short work of the ice-cream that the brunette had bought over earlier.
“I didn’t have to be here in the first place, either.”
“You’re only here because Jamie asked,” Amy reminded him, the redhead not bothering to change from her pajamas though she had taken a shower at some point while Jay had headed back to his apartment briefly to get a change of clothes. “Remember?”
He finished off the ice cream he was eating, bringing the dirty bowls and spoons into the kitchen. “Would you believe me if I said I wanted to be here?”
She shrugged, joining him in the kitchen so she could make herself some tea. “Not really….” Trailing off she added, “But today could have been worse.”
Jay offered her a half smile, grabbing a soda from the fridge, waiting with her until her tea was done before they went back to the den to finish their game.
