though your dangerous dance has brought us power.... it brings me fear;
a glow from beneath; the hum of encroaching death.... it runs rampant through me, spreading;
its touch stings me--- why am i here... was i too weak? fade to yellow.. fade to orange, fade to red... blue then white... i may yet be dead.... chance of survival? bleak. for you to be my last worldly sight--- I slip into... a warm blanket presses against me..... its door closes behind me, as we ascend the stairs... i have lost the blanket, lost all feeling.... when i brought myself to release the lock on my eyes.... i witnessed.... my own demise-- from above-- below and beneath... in a firey wreath.
