I've heard quite a few of you squee about Merlin, so after reading this fic and LOL'ing all the way through I've decided to give at least the first episode a try. I'm hoping for crack, guise, it better not disappoint (but then again, I got into Gossip Girl in the hope of seeing the crack of the books come to life and it's actually one of the best shows on tv, imagine that. sometimes I think it's better than SPN).
ANYWAY. MY POINT.

I AM VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED IN YOU FOR NOT MENTIONING IT D:

I'm watching now and this shit is probably gonna get ETA'ed a lot more, but LOL BRITISH SPECIAL EFFECTS HOW I LOVE YOU.
I mean, it's pretty impressive for the budget they're probably getting but still LOLOLOL, it just looks like a school play in a Welsh meadow, I love it <3
Also, Merlin's voice reminds me of something.

Whenever I see actors in different shows/movies I like to pretend it's one and the same character, always. So now Gwen Cooper is knocked up by Rhys (idk she looks preggers?) and because the baby is so close to the rift all the time it's become a mutant inside her belly and it sucked her through the rift to fantasy!middleages!Merlin land, where she was like 'aww fuck' and she became a singer.

Wow lots of these people have familiar faces so I IMDB'd them, and some of them are pretty famous. ALSO LOLOL MERLIN WAS JETHRO TULL OR SOMETHING IDK IN DOCTOR WHO LOLOLOL.
OH AND I'M HALFWAY NOW I KNOW WHO HE REMINDS ME OF.
I've been listening to him the entire episode but it took him saying 'yessss' until I knew. MERLIN IS DAVID DIXON'S (Ford Prefect in the H2G2 series) VOICE TWIN OH MY GOD.
