Hey I’m new here but not new to the show. I used to watch it but then the writers strike started and I lost track of the TV shows I watch and now I have to play catch up. I love this show, it's one of the best and while I'm a female who is a feminist most of the time, I don't like the women's part of the show that much. Kim is too naive, Tiffy doesn't know left from right and is always screwing up and Molly is too manipulative and a know it all. Now I know that she's the veteran in this group of women but it still annoys me.
The Unit is great, that's the only reason that I watch the show and I'm really glad they added a female character as the new member of the UNIT. Some say she's not an official member, other say yes she is. I'm not sure yet either but when she was talking to Colonel Ryan that he say "There ain't women in the unit" and she didn't confirm nor denied this, it's like plausible deniability. How Mack got back who knows, but this soldiers are train to be resourceful so I wouldn’t be surprise that he got back another way. I agree Jonas has taken a backseat this season but I’m hoping that as the season goes on he steps up to his role as leader of the unit. I can’t wait to see what Mack will do to get revenge on Colonel Ryan. One thing I didn’t like was how Colonel Ryan was talking to the wives, I mean I know he’s a colonel and is the one in charge but that was just disrespectful and like Jonas said he sign himself up not his wife.
A lot of people are skeptical about Red Cap, but I’m going to give her the benefit of the doubt for now. People have fear of the unknown and immediately start to judge without giving a person a fair chance to show their true colors. I agree she wasn’t recruited like the rest of the team and that is a cause for concern but until I want to see few more episodes before I make up my mind about her. One of the things I like about this is that most people don’t believe women do this kind of jobs and they don’t go into combat, but I believe that is BS. Obviously they do, the government just does the plausible deniability thing, and never confirms it. Even the advisor for unit said that there are women out there doing this job and they are very good at it.
