Something that can easily get on my nerves with kid!fic is the words that come out of a kids mouth. Usually, they sound way too baby-ish for me. Jr never really used baby words, and only ever mispronounced a few things...though, to this day, he still says "commerchimials" instead of "commercials ( Read more... )

Awww boys are fun. Joe Bob (2 on Dec 4) says "I KILL YOU!" and "BANG BANG BANG DEAD!" We did not teach these to him, it's his cousins!

Boys are too funny. I think the "bang bang" thing must be in their genes. Jr is all over anything that shoots anything.

It's really weird to see what boys do that seems absolutely contrary to what I would have done as a kid (and I was kind of a tomboy). I remember playing cops and robbers, but I was more interested in getting an accurate shot than making as much machine gun noise as possible! Boys boys boy

He's pretty adorable. He was so disappointed to find out I was already married to daddy. He wanted to know if he could marry me anyways. :) He's so gonna be a momma's boy.

I remember before Jr was born and I thought I was going to be at a loss for how to raise a boy, and now I can't imagine what it would be like to have girls instead. They're my little boys :D

When I write kid!fic, I'm totally going to have you beta at least the kids' sections, because it's been a while since I've spent time with a four year-old. And Ray's four year-old would probably be pretty freaking eloquent, don't you think?

He's been obsessed with who he's going to marry since I told him he couldn't marry me. Ha! Pretty big shoes for some girl. He definitely has high standards. *winks*

Yup, I fear for any girl that's gonna try and upsurp my position in his life. Jr's definitely a momma's boy :D
