Kitten Update

Thanks to everyone that responded to my last post about Una. I was going to respond to the comments, but thought it would be easier to just make a new post. I'm 99% positive that she saw her reflection in the garbage can, and that's what freaked her out. She is still terrified of the bathroom and parts of the living room (the couches!) but seems to be fine in the cat room and the upstairs. When she is down stairs, she is still walking really low to the ground and sniffing around like crazy, probably trying to find the new animal. She has, however, started eating again at the food bowl in the kitchen, though she is very cautious and is always looking behind her in between bites. I wish I could just reason with her, and be like "dude. i know i'm a crazy cat lady, but even i agree that 3 is enough. almost TOO MANY!", but I can't because she's just a cat and doesn't speak english. Every day some improvement is made though, and she is back to her loving sweet self when she is upstairs and feels safe. Gunther is being pretty difficult, unfortunately, and still trapping her in corners. I think he's taking advantage of the fact that she's going through some "issues" right now.

All in all, I'm super happy that she is starting to come around and hope that she'll be completely back to her old self in a few days. She was so fearless and fun before. :(
