(no subject)
this may seem odd for all of you as you have only known me relatively recently
ive never really was a drawer... as a kid i didnt like my drawings, i often opted not to draw, i wasn't a doodler
i think at most i drew i dont know patterns, in middle school i started drawing full pages of a single swirly line that never crossed itself. at some point i drew spikes,almost like branches. and small almost symmetrical things.
i didnt start drawing till after i got into anime, around the 8th grade i started copying cards i had bought, copying not tracing.
now im finally taking an art class, and my teacher thinks i have potential...he asked me what i thought about drawing, i stated it as a hobby, i think he was a bit offended, but he thinks i could continue, he said something about school....but i dont think hes completely right.....i may have a talent...for copying, but i dont think i have the creativity
that and its been fairly beaten into me what a real job is
so i cant help but stand there as my teacher says these things and nod, smile, and suggest that ill look in to it or think about it
