Aww, jeez… I know I’m not around enough lately, especially here in LJ, so I haven’t been able to reply most of the comments (15<3, sorry. But I will reply your comments as soon as I have time). Aah, and now, it’s not fic update, but once in awhile, I want to share an experience for personal purpose *lol*
Anyway, lately I’ve been into BL drama CD. Actually, I’ve been into it for months now. It’s because I love hearing some of my favorite seiyuus getting on each other and pairing them up based on the characters in the shounen anime I’ve been watching *dies laughing* I pretended they were the anime characters and ignored the real names of the real characters (in the CD) they were playing *looool*
Anyway, there’s this drama CD that makes me squeal like no others (because the seiyuu is the seiyuu of my recent favorite fandom character). Suzuki Tatsuhisa, the guy that became Takao Kazunari’s (from Kuroko no Basuke) seiyuu.
First time I heard Takao’s voice, I think I really love it. And when I looked for another characters with the same seiyuu, I stumbled upon a BL drama CD that made me go “WHAT?!” I had no idea Tat-chan voiced in some BL drama CDs before. Unlike Ono Daisuke or Sugita Tomokazu or Suwabe Juunichi or Fukuyama Jun or Konishi Katsuyuki or Hiroshi Kamiya (they are quite famous in voicing BL drama CD aside taking part in shounen anime), Suzuki Tatsuhisa is quite rare in BL world; so I downloaded the CD and heard his voice and-
I got nosebleed. No, seriously, Tat-chan’s voice as an uke is so freaking HOT such that I actually get nosebleed for real (or maybe it was because the air was so dry when I heard it). Anyway, after that I looked for his BLCD more and I actually got one with Ono Daisuke x Suzuki Tatsuhisa pair.
My reaction: “Holy SHIT! Midorima x Takao (from Kuroko no Basuke) for real!” I screamed hysterically into the phone (because I was on phone with my brother at that time) and he thought I had turned seriously crazy. Yeah, I could go into spontaneous scream when I found something awesome *rotfl*
And then, even though the story isn’t really funny (because it’s a drama, it’s quite depressing, actually, unlike the first comedy romance one that I heard with Oka Tohru x Suzuki Tatsuhisa’s as a pair), I can’t help imagining Midorima and Takao getting on each other for real when I heard Dai-chan and Tat-chan in the BLCD (KYAAAAAAAA! 10x). Ahem, sorry for being so squeally (not a word, I know, but that’s how I acted for several days after I heard them).
After that, I was on a mission to hunt BL drama CD with Suzuki Tatsuhisa in it again, and got some (haven’t had a chance to hear them yet) and when I organized my old drama CD collections, I realized that I actually have the one with Ono Daisuke x Kamiya Hiroshi as a pair. I just realized that. “Oh my freaking GOD! It’s Shizuo x Izayaaaa! (from DURARARA!!)” Yeah, I screamed again, but this time in the absence of my brother. But, my hubby was around and he looked at me as if I were some kind of lunatic *dies laughing*
For personal favorites of BL drama seiyuu’s voices, I love Fukuyama Jun (Nura Rikuo from Nuramago) most as an uke (and he playes a LOT as an uke already) and Konishi Katsuyuki (Oga Tatsumi from Beelzebub) as a seme. Same thing with Suwabe Juunichi (Aomine Daiki from Kuroko no Basuke) as seme (his voice was dripping with SEXINESS even though he wasn’t doing a ‘bed scene’ *lol*). Oh, and I actually found some of Ono Yuuki (Kagami Taiga from Kuroko no Basuke) in BLCD, both as seme and as uke. Ah, sheesh, can’t wait to hearing them OUT!
I look for BLCD with Ono Kenshou (Kuroko Tetsuya in Kuroko no Basuke) too, but I haven’t found any. Probably because he’s new? Or maybe because he doesn’t do BLCD (yet) *evil grin* But with his cute voice, I want him to do one so I can imagine his character as Kuroko *dreamy* It’s even better if he’s with Ono Yuuki as a pair, so it can be Kagami x Kuroko (my OTP) pair (you wish).
Oh, right as for the title of the BLCD and some reviews, I’ll share the one with Oka Tohru x Suzuki Tatsuhisa pair and the Midorima x Takako ahem, I mean Ono Daisuke x Suzuki Tatsuhisa pair.
ABAZURE (R-18)
Pair: Oka Tohru x Suzuki Tatsuhisa
Review: Soryu Riku (Suzuki Tatsuhisa), 19 year old, is the second child in a big family (9 members in total, 1 father, 1 older sister and 7 younger siblings; mom= deceased) and his family is pretty poor because his dad isn’t working properly (or probably he is, but isn’t enough), and the father loves women very much that his younger siblings all are from different mothers (but he’s a funny dad and the relationship inside the family is very AWESOME despite their constant little fights), so Riku has to work here and there to fulfill the family needs. Riku’s appearance is quite rough because of his jobs and his body is constantly covered in bruises (probably because he fights a lot as well), but his face is pretty and many older people (mostly male) like him and tries to help him in hope for getting in his pants (those perverted old men!), that’s why Riku can’t trust people easily and is prone to ‘use’ them to get more money (by conning or blackmailing them). One day, he’s greeted by an older man, Kozuki Kaname (Oka Tohru), a lawyer that mistook his bruises as a result of domestic violence. Riku sees it as a chance to con the man to get money from him, so he plays a long as a victim. But, when he’s doing another blackmailing activity to another person, a teacher maybe or a doctor, since Riku calls him sensei, (who has mistaken his baby brother, Sora, as his female twin, and confessed his love to him), his con is busted because the man is friends with Kaname (damn!). But unlike what he thought before, instead of suing Riku and his family, Kaname asks him on a date! (What is wrong with him?). Riku has never met such a person before. Kaname so easily trusts people even Riku (even though Riku already duped him once) and is actually very good with animals (Riku loves cats) and Riku’s beloved siblings. Riku still doesn’t trust him, but Kaname is pursuing his love and relationship with him quite earnestly that Riku agrees to go out with him in hope of making the guy hate Riku for being a big trouble for him. But alas, Kaname is an eccentric person and his family is filled with amazingly good people (and he’s freaking RICH to boot!). Kaname (and his family) easily wins Riku’s family’s affection, and Riku, being Tsundere, can’t easily admit the growing attraction he feels towards Kaname (despite Kaname’s sweet mouth and he already doing ‘this’ and ‘that’ to Riku’s body *lol*). Riku still doesn’t want to have special relationship with Kaname. Things gets even more hectic when a woman shows up on Riku’s working place one day, claiming to be Kaname’s cousin as well as fiancé. Can this be a chance for Riku to get free from Kaname’s troublesome and sweet grasp, or will Riku get jealous instead and realize that he wants to be special with Kaname?
Personal note: The sex scene is amazingly HOT and the plot is funny! I LOVE it very much!
Name of Love (R-18)
Pairing: Ono Daisuke x Suzuki Tatsuhisa
Review: Sawamura Kouhei (Ono Daisuke) has been in love with his best friend, Shinohara Tetsuya (Suzuki Tatsuhisa), since high school. After years of not meeting each other because Tetsuya went off the grid post high school graduation, they meet again in some kind of class reunion (or drinking party). Tetsuya’s life until now is quite questionable because he lives alone after his parents died in accident when he was still in high school. He has no relative whatsoever and both Kouhei and the other best friend helped Tetsuya a lot during his grieving period and after that until graduation. Tetsuya was very grateful for that, and because he didn’t want to trouble his best friends further than he already had, he went away without leaving any contact information. After the reunion, Kouhei escorted Tetsuya home (to Tetsuya’s little apartment he can afford by doing lots of part time jobs) because he’s quite drunk. As a thank you, Tetsuya tells Kouhei to take something from his house (even though there aren’t many). Kouhei whose feeling for Tetsuya is awakened once more, asks Tetsuya to sleep with him after confessing his love to him (even though it’s for one time only). Tetsuya is very surprised at first and even though he doesn’t feel the same way, he likes Kouhei very much as his best friend. Tetsuya who has abandonment issues feels that if he doesn’t sleep with Kouhei, his best friend will grow to hate him and leaves him (like his parents did by dying before him), so he goes along and sleeps with Kouhei (because he respects and likes him and is obligated and thankful for his love). Kouhei assumes that Tetsuya is okay with being together with him despite suspecting that Tetsuya is probably only doing it out of obligation. Tetsuya himself says he wants to be together with Kouhei, so they start going out. At some points, Kouhei asks Tetsuya to live together with him, and even though he’s hesitant at first, once again he goes along with Kouhei’s wish because he doesn’t want Kouhei to hate him. Tetsuya is still doubtful of his feelings towards Kouhei, but he doesn’t mind sleeping with him in daily basis (oh, dear) and along the way, he grows to love sex with Kouhei. Moreover, staying with Kouhei comforts him. He doesn’t have to get worried over money to meet needs-end anymore because Kouhei insists on paying for both of their needs. However, their pseudo ‘relationship’ is interrupted by Kouhei’s ex-boyfriend, Midori (Kaji Yuuki), an okama that still feels strongly for Kouhei and asks for his help to let him stay at Kouhei’s place for some time. Because Midori doesn’t have anywhere else to go (he runs away from home because his parents doesn’t know his life-style), Tetsuya feels pity towards him, like a kindred spirit that knows exactly how it feels to have no place to return to. Despite Kouhei’s refusal (at first), Tetsuya convinces Kouhei to let Midori stay with them. At first Midori is grateful, but then he grows jealous of Kouhei and Tetsuya’s relationship. Midori suspects that Tetsuya only ‘uses’ Kouhei for his own benefit. He knows that Tetsuya doesn’t feel the same type of ‘love’ Kouhei has for him and as a proof, he seduces Tetsuya to sleep with him. Tetsuya can’t resist Midori’s advance because Midori is right about his feeling for Kouhei. He’s afraid if Midori will tell Kouhei about that, so he goes along despite not wanting to. After that his relationship with Midori becomes very awkward. Kouhei notices that, but doesn’t suspect anything until one day, Midori attacks Tetsuya again and Kouhei unexpectedly catches them in the act. Kouhei is of course furious and instantly throws them both out of his house. Tetsuya feels very guilty for causing pain for Kouhei, but he just leaves without giving the real explanation (even though Midori falsely accuses him for being the one that seduces Midori first) because he knows eventually people will abandon him. He isn’t a good guy. He betrays Kouhei’s love. But then, Midori feels really bad for causing Tetsuya and Kouhei to break up after he knows that Tetsuya has no one anymore. He repeatedly visits Tetsuya (who stays in the store where he works as a bartender now) to apologize and promises him to tell Kouhei the real story. Tetsuya who already feels hopeless (since he doesn’t love Kouhei ‘like that’ anyway), tells Midori not to, besides, they indeed slept together and he cheated on Kouhei even though it was under duress. Kouhei, after a few weeks, feels his anger dissipated and gradually feels remorseful because he realizes that he absolutely has no right to get angry at Tetsuya. After all he kind of ‘uses’ Tetsuya’s condition as well to get what he wants. Though, it’s not Tetsuya’s body anymore that he desires. He wants Tetsuya’s heart as well and he’s just disappointed that he can’t make Tetsuya fall in love with him during their stay as ‘lovers’ together. He wants to find him and apologize, but he doesn’t know where Tetsuya is and he’s worried because Tetsuya has no one to look after him. Kouhei wants to be his best friend again even though their relationship as lovers doesn’t end well. Will Kouhei be able to find Tetsuya again? Will Tetsuya come back to Kouhei? Will Midori clear the misunderstanding between them?
Personal note: It’s quite a touching story with heavy emotional and psychological turmoil and of course, splendid sex scene (as expected for Dai-chan and Tat-chan). Rather angsty, and even though the ending is inconclusive, it still can be counted as open happy ending. I don’t really care because I just want to hear Midorima and Takao’s, err… Ono Daisuke and Suzuki Tatsuhisa’s voices in romantic situation together (ha!)
So, that’s how it is. I hope it’s quite useful as short amateur reviews. If you’re interested in hearing the drama, both BLCD download links can be found in
Aarinfantasy forum (since the rules says no one can re-upload outside the forum, I can’t post the DL-links here, sorry).
