[She keeps sketching in lines quite happily, working on the rafters in the upper right corner without looking down.] Oh they don't that I've heard so far, but I think they can listen, don't you?

I can't say as I've experienced such a feeling.

[This is Luna, she's remarkably adaptable. Besides, why should part-human animals be any weirder than other stuff here?]

It is! I suppose it could be strange for people who don't want to be heard, but for others there's a sense of comfort about it.

But they don't need mouths. You just have to learn to listen properly.

Not being able to speak doesn't mean not being able to communicate.

Just believe that you can. Once you believe, everything else sort of falls into place.
