Does anyone know anything about those drugs which stop menstruation? Yes I mean horror stories. Please tell me anything you might know!

Edit: I was referring to presciption drugs taken FOR stopping menstruation, not recreational drugs or other drugs that might make you stop having your period as a side effect.

Heroin. I'm not sure how but someone I know quit menstruating when she was strung out.

I tried looking, but information was sketchy at best. Most of it was about speculation over wether or not stopping menstuaation would have disastrous effects on women, with nothing conclusive.

crap. I want to know if i should take it for a brief period when having my period would be very very bad.

why exactly do you want to have amenorrhea? (absence of menstruation)

if it's simply a case of inconvenience, why dont you try a tampon?

menstruation only last a few days anyways. unless, you're having it a lot longer and quite heavier than normal, then i'd recommend you check with a gynecologist for professional advice.

Actually, I was asking this because I went to Hajj this year, Alhamdulilah. ^_^ I ended up not taking any period stoppers. By the way, this post is public because I wanted any advice I could get, but it's several months old. I lock almost all my entries, even though i hardly ever post. WOuld you like to add me?
