Wow, so you are pretty much self-taught! I imagine that takes a lot of patience to do.
I completely got what you ment, and I have opened pixels up to see how they work, but I would find it easier to follow a tutorial, I keep hoping I will find one, and that one will be relatively simple hehe.. although I know they do take a fair bit of work, but I really love them and hope to make them someday! Everyone has their own style for blinkies, I guess I also want to find mine!

No worries, originally I found it on someone's info page : sort of like you fell upon mine.

Someone had / has a LJ with a code on it.

Only it hasn't been updated since 2006, on the LJ site. I just updated it, because the date is always the same. I just checked what day it fell on this year, and will do the same next year.
