By the way

I don't really use LJ much anymore. I still have love for it, and feel bad about neglecting it, but I do most of my posting on Facebook nowadays, which is funny because I don't have any affection for FB; it's just useful and convenient for me right now. Eventually, I'll move on to yet another site for most of my casual journaling stuff. It's the cycle of social sites like these. Eventually your social circle on a site becomes stale and fizzles and fades and you find another one where your social circle is more current and vibrant and immediate.

So, I will probably only be doing those "writer's block" things on here, even though I think most of them are stupid and boring. I'll just be very blunt, impulsive, and unapologetic about the way I answer them. No politically correct Newspeak, no disclaimers. If people don't like it they can de-friend me or block me or whatever. At least I finally have found a new use for my LJ, so I don't have to feel bad about neglecting it anymore.

Also, on a related note to the "writer's block" thing, I have an account on Formspring, it's a site where people can submit questions, either anonymously or openly, to other people. I think it's a fun concept with lots of potential for both very serious and very silly idea exchange and communication. I've only had 5 questions posed to me since I joined, but it would be fun to get more questions, even random or surreal ones. I've had a bad case of creative block for several years now.
