Another update about Saturday's show
I just checked MySpace bulletins via my cell phone (I can't access MySpace at all via my work computer, and I can't post or send messages via my phone) and saw an update about the show; now it seems the Sizzling Sirens' burlesque thing is happening right at 8 p.m., and after they are done the bands will play. Also for the Sirens' portion, it WILL be 18+, and will revert to all-ages afterward for the bands.
I wonder if the cover charge will also revert to something more typical after the Sirens' are done. It only seems right, being that the event at that point reverts to what is essentially a typical show at Javalounge.
Because this event has been promoted as an 8 p.m. thing, a lot of people will probably miss part or all of the burlesque thing.
Seriously, they should charge a $10 cover prior to the Sirens' portion, which would pay for admission for the whole evening, and then reduce it to like $5 or $6 after they finish, which would be fair for a typical Javalounge live music night.
I wonder what's going to happen between now and tomorrow night to change things up even more.....
