Do I really have to work tomorrow?

Finally coming down off the turkey/sweet potato coma. Sweet Jesus, yes, yes. They usually have decent tv on Thanksgiving, but I couldn't find anything worthwhile so I watched The 40 year old virgin, unrated with bonus features. That movie will never get old, no matter how many times you see it.

I was a good girl and actually went for a walk in the park after dinner. I'm on a new exercise kick for the past couple of weeks doing cardio with one of those giant inflatable balls. I've deemed Gunnar Peterson my dvd boyfriend to help whip me back into shape. If he can train Ben Affleck and Nick Lachey, then I've got high hopes. Ben was quite the tubby bitch for a while post JLO.

To celebrate getting her last child into college, my mother is taking herself on vacation to Disney World. I thought it was kinda strange for a 50 year old to go to Disney by herself, but she explained that each time she's gone, she always had to go where we wanted to go and miss out of stuff she wanted to see. Why she didn't speak up when I was 12, is beyond me. Anyway, she invited me along, and we're leaving in 2 weeks. I just really want to go to Epcot and Animal Kingdom. She can plan everything else.

I don't know if it's the time of year or what, but I feel like my bank account is gasping for air. I bought my brother a plane ticket to go home, I bought a plane ticket for Disney, I paid two of my student loan bills, and my new commute to work is 80 miles, so filling up every week with gas prices over $3 isn't helping. Plus my boss is late with our bonuses, and I saved $800 for the trip. Geez.

Hopefully once I get back, I can make a budget and still buy gifts for the fam. Here's hoping I don't have to resort to sending a bunch of ecards.
