house cleaning is no fun
Today is a massive cleaning day. Since our household goods arrived on the same day as a guest and I started work crazy hours right after the guest left the apartment has been in total disarray. Greg has moved all the unpacked boxes to our little storage closet for the time being. Those boxes mostly contain books, so there is not much that can be done with them until we find some affordable bookshelves. Upstairs there is a huge clothes and paper problem. I packed pretty much all my clothes because I was not sure what I would need up here. Now that I am fully aware that I live in the Land of Suck, I know I can get rid of 2/3 of my wardrobe.
Right now I am being bold and using the self clean feature on the oven. Our previous attempt resulted in flames and copious amounts of smoke. Hopefully I am not about to burn the place down!
