Dear you,
Those times have not gone aways. Those times that is hesitated with every 'I love you' and falling asleep to your txts. We had planned a future together. Living in Virginia together and being happy. Sure, everyone fights in a relationship, but you had me. You took my breath away. You made me feel complete, even though we were doing the relationship long distance. I wonder everyday about you..and were you the best thing I never had?
We had 5 years of a relationship under us and then you proposed to me last year. I still have your ring. I was going to be your wife, and you were going to be mine.
The reason I haven't dated is because I haven't had someone like you. Through the ups and downs we stuck by each other because there was something real there. I don't want you to be the best thing I never had.
Once we both finish college and you ask me again to marry you, my answer is yes. It will always be yes. It has never been no, and it never will be.
A crush is a crush, but you still have my heart. And if you were to show up at my door today and ask me, on the drop of a dime I would still say yes.
