So....
I saw Deathly Hallows Part One on Thursday night and loved it. The HP movies continue to be some of the most faithful book adaptions (what they do change from the books, they change for a reason that makes sense). I feel the last three have been absolutely fantastic (I wasn't happy with The Prisoner of Azkaban, because that was my favorite book and I was way more picky about it?)
I find myself wanting know more about the Wizarding world- what's the American equivalent of Hogwarts? It seems unlikely that America wouldn't have Wizards, but boarding schools are more of an exception than the rule in the American education. And while Voldemort hadn't seemed to set his sights on America- issues such as Purebloods/Mixed Bloods and such would effect only Europe.
(That's part of what I liked about what Rick Riordan did with the new Camp Half Blood series he started. It expands the world view in a !!! kind of way.
Other than wondering about Wizarding politics, I'm waiting for Yuletide assignments(w00t). I also bought myself an awesome new winter coat, because it was adorable, and my last winter coat was a Starter Jacket, circa 1994.
