“I can’t. I just can’t.”

“Yes, you can.”

“It wouldn’t be right to just replace it. Not after all that we’ve been through together.”

“You have to move on with your life. Moving on is healthy.”

“And the pot calls the kettle black.” Dean harrumphed. “Like you know anything about moving on.”

“I’m working on it.”

“Please.”

“Honestly, Dean. You can’t just waffle back and forth on this anymore. Seriously! Make a choice.”

“This isn’t an easy choice.” Dean said gruffly. “This is momentous. This decision could change the path of my entire life, man. Give me a break.”

Sam rolled his eyes. “Dean, the world could very well end before you make a choice.”

“Don’t lecture me.”

“Somebody has to.”

“Shut up.”

“Dean, this isn’t brain surgery. Choose. Deal or No Deal, you’ve got to decide.”

Dean eyed the car. “I guess it isn’t too bad. For a new car. They don’t make ‘em like they used to.”

“No, they make them better. With CD players, air bags, and seat belts. You know, the things that hadn’t been invented when your old car was built.”

“You’re just jealous that Dad didn’t give you the car.”

“Yeah. I really missed out, not inheriting the death trap on wheels.”

“Remind me to kick your ass later when we’re not in public.” Dean sighed. “I guess I’ll get it.” He said reluctantly.

“Dean, a new car is not a death sentence.”

”Says you.”

“Just buy it already.” Sam sighed.

”I don’t know…”

“The sooner you buy it, the sooner we can get back to kicking evil’s ass. Not to mention that with a car, we could be hunting down the son of a bitch demon that killed Mom and Jess, possessed Dad, ruined your car, and has made our lives hell for the last twenty two years, right now.”

Dean perked up immediately.

The salesperson, sensing a kill, swooped in. “So you’re interested in buying a 2006 Impala, boys?”
