[Just the thing Ceodore wants to have to address, but it's necessary. Like losing Kain and Rydia wasn't hard enough.]

To anyone who knew her, Porom's been returned home.

[Right before he gets the journal closed so he can make his way to the Battle Dome for blowing off frustrations, it catches a muttered addition.]

[Terra hears that, and since she was planning to head to the battle dome sometime today, decides that now is a good time. Well, right after teleporting to his house in a little while. She was hoping to catch him, but...oh well. Instead, she leaves the plate of cookies she made on the kitchen table, with a birthday card.

Teleporting over to the battle dome, she glances around for him.]

[Terra will find Ceodore punching in the hardest scenario the simulator will allow him, frowning the whole time. Unfortunately he's so intent on his brooding he doesn't even realize she's around.]

[esper_flight]

[Terra watches him for a bit, wondering if she should join him or let him punch away. It's obvious he needs the outlet. Well, as long as he's not hurting himself, Terra will let him continue without interruption. However, if he is injured, Ceodore will find himself smacked with a surprise Cure.]

[First thing out is a Flamehound, which Ceodore dispatches with no small amount of smug satisfaction. It's the Mythril Golem that follows which gives the princeling trouble in a fight. It's titanic metal fists slam into him and knocks him backwards to the ground.]

[Terra can't just stand there while Ceodore is knocked about, and so she sends some healing magic toward her friend.]

[The sensation of magic on him takes Ceodore by surprise and he glances over his shoulder to figure out where it came from.]

Terra?

[No time to angst over the assistance or question how long she's been there, the golem is coming back again. He scrambles to his feet and this time doles out a series of frustration venting slashes. Not enough to take the creature down, but the exertion makes him feel better at least.]

[Terra's assistance is minimal, not because she doesn't want to help, but due to the fact that Ceodore obviously needs an outlet. She'll let him concentrate on the creature slaying while she does her part to keep him alive.]

[Another heavy fist comes slamming down on Ceodore who shudders in pain as it strikes. Too stubborn to use Blink to avoid becoming a bestie punching bag, he staggers backwards. Once he's got his footing again, he lets out an angry bellow and rushes the Golem to run it clean through.

Once it's downed, he sheathes his sword and simply stares at the spot the creature once stood.]

[Terra watches him a moment, then heads on over. She pauses beside him, using a little healing magic.]

Uh, thanks.

[Ceodore grins sheepishly at needing any sort of backup in the fight, even if it's just healing.]

Sorry I didn't notice you sooner.

[esper_flight]

It's okay.

[He gets a small smile in response.]

...I heard your message.

Oh, about Porom?

... it's better for her to be at home.

[He's not at all thinking the rest got heard.]

I suppose...but it's still hard to lose a friend.

[He looks down and sighs. It's pretty rotten to wish someone here in this place, but still...]

Second teacher I've lost.

Teacher? For what?

Uh well... There's a lot of White Magic that I still don't know. Tellah was teaching me before and I thought Porom could take over.
