[Kain watches suspiciously. The moment he notices a spear among the weapons, he storms over.]

[Oh great. It's that grumpy boy who thinks but doesn't speak, that should have stayed a frog. Ceodore's getting a quick education in how to read thanks to him. He clutches the spear tighter and shakes his head emphatically.]

You moron. I am Kain Highwind, son of Sir Richard, of Baron. The Commander of the Dragoons, in case you're too dense to know that. So the spear belongs TO ME!

[Kain stomps closer and aims a punch for Ceodore's face. This is how he says hello, really.]

[He can't quite make out all of that, but the fist to the face hurts enough to make the rest of the point. Ceodore retaliates by yelling and attempting to return the fist to the face action with the spear still tucked against him with the other arm.]

[Normally Ceodore wouldn't be so mean to anyone else, but this kid picked on a girl and he's a bully. The little guy does not like that one bit. He's got a vague idea that his mother wouldn't like this behavior one bit, but that prick of conscience is being squashed down.]

[More shoving from Ceodore, then he decides to deliver a punch to the face for himself. The spear that started the whole hoopla goes clattering to the floor.]

[Kain glares furiously.]

[He lunges at Ceodore in an attempt to wrestle him to the ground.

[Oh it's on now. This dumb bully insulted his dad. Ceodore gets tackled to the ground easily, but starts kicking and punching in retaliation, trying to flip his attacker over.]

Father is not stupid! He's the bravest paladin in the world which is loads better than being some dumb dragoon.

[Change of fighting tactics! Ceodore reaches out to grab that spear he dropped and trying to whack the kid pummeling him enough to go away. Too bad the thing's so heavy.]

[Yeah, well, Kain is going to grab at one of the swords Ceodore brought out, and try to replicate disarming tactics he's seen the warriors perform. Of course... being so small, this won't be effective, but he'll try!]

[They're both equally clumsy with the weapons, which is actually more hazardous for them both than knowing what they're doing. Ceodore's only assuming that sword is his too since it's in his room, that denotes ownership, right?]

[And sure enough, Ceodore's gotten quite the cur across his arm in all the tussling. He gets mad enough to heft the spear and try whacking Kain on the head with it.]
