[So far, so good. This whole camping trip with Selphie has been a great break from the norm. Good to get away and he's pleased as punch they both left journals behind so nothing embarrassing could get caught by the pesky books. There's been no experiments, no raging dragoons, no interruptions, no hanky panky sadly, but it's a fair enough trade off.

[Sun rise, you say? Well, a sudden falling body might make the tent shake a bit as Frey falls and hits the edge. He's still in his PJ pants, too.] O-ow....

[There's a wake-up call. Ceodore sits up like a shot, dislodging Selphie and looking around in a bleary haze.]

Wh-what was that?

[boomchucka]

[Sudden shaking you say? Well, that'll wake Selphie up with a start as she comes crawling out of the tent for the second time that morning and sees...]

Frey?

[falenandawn]

[Frey blinks, confused as to where the hell he is. Hearing familiar voices, though, makes him look towards the front of the tent. Selphie might notice Frey has a tattoo that looks vaguely like a yin yang symbol on his hand, as well as several fresh scars across his chest, likely from a sword.

Yeah, odd for the usually neat prince.] Selphie?

...And is that Ceodore I hear? Where am I...?

[Well dammit. There goes his heat source. Ceodore leans over and pokes his head through the opening.]

Frey? Uh, what's going on?

[boomchucka]

[Well if he put on a shirt...]

I'm really starting to think the Malnosso are up to their old tricks...

[She sighs before spotting that tattoo and the... scars? Selphie's on Frey about that instantly.]

What happened? Are you okay? Did you get into a fight? Why didn't you call for backup? Have you been to the clinic? Have you cleaned the wounds yet?

[falenandawn]

[Thanks Selphie, he's still dazed and confused.] What are you talking abou- [Wait... She's looking at his.. chest? Drat.]

I-I'm fine! They're from last month. They've already healed.

What are you two doing... wherever this is?

Sleeping. [Or they were. Not anything else dammit, and not anymore.]

[There's a few sleepy blinks from Ceodore and he tries to make his eyes focus to see what's got Selphie excited. Mornings are not his best hours. After a moment or two, he decides it can just wait until he's awake and reaches in the tent for his pillow.]

[boomchucka]

And camping. [She sends a pout in Ceodore's direction.]

Don't mind him, he's a big grump in the morning who should put on a shirt before he catches a cold.

[And then right back to the matter at hand.] How'd you get them?

[falenandawn]

[A nervous chuckle.] Erm, well... I got jumped by a few demons and their master. He was too fast for me to even see properly when he attacked.

If you even see a man in black with blond, braided hair, make sure to run the other way. He's not human.

[He doesn't want to put his shirt on, Selphie. He'd rather yours come off. Makes better sense to him. Not that his sense is trustworthy when he's not all awake.

Slumping over on the pillow now. Expect him to be out sound pretty soon.]

[boomchucka]

[Ceodore if you even think of trying to remove Selphie's shirt, she will kick you out of the tent, march down to the river, bring back the largest bucket of water she can carry and dump it on that hot-blooded head of yours...

She sighs as he crawls back into the tent before focusing on Frey.]

Demons and their master? There really are all types here aren't there?

And I'm sorry about Captain Grumpypants there. [She points at the tent.]

He's actually from my world, but I'd never met him before coming here.

It's fine. He's probably upset he didn't get to sleep in. Aren't you, Ceodore? [Frey is usually up with the sun anyway.]

[But she's so cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute and that's just not fair at all to expect him not to notice.

Not that he's noticing anything going on around him. There's a soft grunt that might be agreement with Frey's query. More likely, it's just him settling in for another couple hours' sleep.]

[boomchucka]

And... that would be Ceodore, going back to sleep. [She can't help but smile at that. She'll probably crawl back in with him in a little bit anyway.

[Frey chuckles as well, then turns his attention to Selphie.]

How have you guys been? I was wondering why I hadn't seen you around.
