39 - [Action/Voice]
[The last thing Ceodore expects to find upon returning home from the clinic and his devoted vigil over his sickly sweetheart is three bodies laying prone in front of the house. Especially when those three bodies belong to Rydia, Kain... and Golbez. He'll do his damnedest to revive them all but there are some things that not even magic can reverse and his uncle falls under that category.
Once he's saved all that he can, he wearily leaves a message on his journal:]
My uncle... Golbez...
[He can't even finish what he'd started. All it boils down to is that yet again he's not good enough and someone dear to him is dead.
Eventually he'll make his way back to the clinic, but it will be after hours spent seeing to housemates to make sure they don't join Golbez.]
