My birthday was pretty good. I never have Fridays off, so it was nice to be off and be able to do something. (Even though I had to ask for it off, cause I literally work *every* Friday.) It was pretty much just a day spent with my sister, nephew, and Dad. I hadn't expected him to go with us, so that was kinda nice. We haven't gone out and done anything as a family in a while.
We went to Pizza Hut and then stopped by WalMart while we were in town (cause Dad and I both needed more service for our phones). While we were there, my phone started ringing. It was work and I aaaalmost didn't answer it, but I knew which manager was working and she already knew why I was off. So I answered. She went around and had everyone working tell me happy birthday, y'all. And it was all my favorite people. <333 Best surprise of my night.
After WalMart we went bowling. I haven't bowled in...probably going about ten years or more?? The last time I *remember* I was in high school and I'm coming up on my ten year reunion this summer... So yeah, my first game was terrrrrible. *laughs* Only my nephew had a lower score than me...and it wasn't by much. (And he's three.) Ha! Second game though, I would have won, had Dad not bowled two strikes in the last frame. (He was having an off game. :P) But it was fun! And I had a drink from the bar attached to the bowling alley. (Fuzzy Navel, which I haven't had in a while.) And Dad surprised me by paying for dinner and bowling--which I had already expected to be paying for, so that was nice. :)
Uh *sheepish* I feel a little odd complaining about being old when half of my f-list are older than I am, and I'm not exactly sure *how* to complain like an old lady, so I'm gonna cheat and not do that bit.

Haha! So, for Christmas my sister got me a "12 Days of Coffee" sampler thing with 12 different flavors of coffee. Of those 12...I've tried 3. *laughs* But I can talk about those!
First off, the 12 coffee flavors are: Breakfast Blend, Crème Brûlée, Cinnamon, Dark Roast, French Vanilla, Mild Roast, Chocolate Almond, Irish Cream, Hazelnut, French Roast, Italian Roast, and Bistro Blend.
I tried Crème Brûlée first and omg if I could drink that one all the time I would. It's definitely my favorite of the three so far. Next was Irish Cream. It was good, but not as tasty as the Crème Brûlée was. The last one I let my sister choose and she picked Cinnamon. I made faces cause I don't think cinnamon and coffee go together and that one probably would have been one of the last ones I tried otherwise. But, we tried it, and...yeah, no. It's not for me. I'm just not a spice-type person when it comes to drinks, idk. It was drinkable, I'll give it that, but I wouldn't drink it again. XD
