In Which There's a Proper(ish) Update
So, kids. Kids are awesome. They really are.
And I am so damn glad I have none.
Crashing at my sister's place while the Great Job Hunt of '09 commences. And here also resides me nearly-two-year-old niece. Who thinks I'm the best thing since Gramma.
While I'm getting... marginally better with her, I still don't know what to do with her. She's cute as anything and I do adore her, but right now? My thought process on kids in general tends to be "Kids are great! WowI'mgladIhavenone!" And since they're nothing looming on the horizon, I don't have to worry about that any time soon and can happily play with my niece while knowing it'll be a long, long, long-if-ever-existent time before I have any of my own. And thank your deity of choice for that.
The job hunt has yet to turn up any reliable leads, but I've only been on it for a week now. Hopefully something will come up soon as I A) hate to be a burden and B) miss personal space. We'll see, I also would rather not end up in a shitty job due to being over desperate. Until then, need to clear my head and work on writing projects. After all, I'm ridiculously behind on my goal for Yu's story. It doesn't help that another project's characters got very talkative suddenly. About things that aren't even going to be happening for AGES. -_-;
Other than that, trying to adjust my thoughts to being up in Portland and trying to get back into RP. If anyone needs me for any reason, I am always around on email!
