In Which Two Weeks Have Passed
It's been two weeks, right? Let's keep myself doing this, eh?
Story/project progress update! A lot of inane babble, a lot of me thinking things through out loud, WHEE!
Yu's Story:
50,410/100,000 words
I'll make the note that I'm only updating the word count as I complete scenes right now. This is because I don't write things in one master document as would be SMART. Instead, I have scenes in different documents and work on the different scenes as meets my mood and then add them to my master document as the scenes are actually completed.
So I have more words done than are necessarily recorded in the master doc, making word count posted here is not necessarily 100% accurate of what I actually have done or have been doing during the weeks. But trying to add up all the different scenes in different files is difficult particularly when some files have parts in the master doc, but only SOME.
Yes, this is more complicated than it needs to be. But don't worry. I'm an expert. 8|
Scenes actively being worked on:
-Ball scene (intro)
-Yu and the Teal Sage in the early morning (...I don't know, I just started this one)
-Yu and the Underground Chamber THE FIRST (action, plot, pretty important, mmm descriptastic)
-Crane Garden (Transition, plot scene, emotional stability)
Journey Leaves:
Alright, mostly sorta back on track here. I've been updating...sorta regularly. Mostly regularly and have enough of a buffer to be comfortable. Wondering if I should be updating more often, though. Anyone wanna comment on how the pacing of this is going if you're reading it?
Petsite Work:
Time to organize and push for more direction. We've been stalled at the moment, but we don't have to be because we've got plenty to do.
-Country symbols and culture need further fleshing out and developing.
-Experience and leveling places need thought up, discussed, named, developed.
-Along with the above, NPCs need brewed up. I need to work on plot characters more too.

Not much to say here, so not going to say much. Have so many of these half finished and half baked, nyugh.
Other:
-I owe a job app or two. Annoying, boring, makes me feel incompetent even when I am perfectly qualified, but not getting a better job if I don't APPLY for one.
-Temptation to start something, not storywise, but RPwise is there. And strong. Not that I have time for this, as I don't spend half as much time on RPs as would be useful. Still, continuing to let this idea float around and see if anything comes of it.
