In Which the Season It Is
I survived Christmas!
It was a good Christmas, very mellow. Got some awesome gifts. Most notable (or at least amusing) being a giant plaster penguin and the Ocarina of Time. Not the game. The Ocarina. Now to figure out how to play the song of time and I can start my quest, BWAHAHAHA!
Though right now the penguin seems to want to go on a quest through time, since it's wearing the ocarina. I hafta find it a little green hat now. >.> And a name. Probably gonna call it Cracka, actually!
Currently thinking a lot about what I would like and where I would like to end up in the next year. Since I'm graduating this spring and...well, lots and lots of scary uncertainty coming up. Lots and lots of HOPEFUL uncertainty too, but lots of unknowns and possibilities.
I realized that, if at all possible, I'd really like a place to myself, next place I move. This is, I know, probably just a pipe dream, but it would be nice. I want to move in some place that I can make feel like it's MINE. Some place I can actually make feel like a home. Each place I've moved into since college has always felt...temporary. Not to mention I've never really claimed more than about a room in the place for myself, due to various circumstances.
Just...something I'm thinking about.
Speaking of apartments, heads up to the people living in Eugene who read this journal! Come this spring, my current roommates are probably going to move out, so I'm gonna need to find a new roommate. Since I have a lease and all. So, if anyone is going to be looking for a place in the spring or knows someone cool who is...Keep me in mind!
I'm sure I had other things to discuss, but I think that's all I feel like talking about.
