One of my best friends just went home and I've had a couple return from kidnappings recently. I think it's something in the Christmas season, but I'm not sure what or why.

I don't have this "Christmas" holiday on my home world, though it seems to have pervaded through many of the others. I'd been getting the impression that it is a day devoted to love and peace [and presents]. Is it somehow more malevolent? Are kidnappings generally part of the celebration?

Kidnappings are never part of it back home. I have a theory that it's something the Malnosso are using as a second sort of experiment, but I hope I'm desperately wrong. [For the ONLY time in her LIFE. You will NEVER hear her say that again.]
