Moving on

We gave up the house hunting.
Even though we hate this town and all these college dumbnuts, no one said I had to really go outside or support this local economy.. so.. that's just what we'll do. If I need anything, order online or go outside of Newark. I always thought the best way to hurt someone/thing/place was financial.

meanwhile, I get to probably finally meet my "Japanese boyfriend" as Andrew calls him in January. He usually takes a vacation then and he wants to visit the US. I've offered him a free place to stay and he'll return the favor when I get to Japan in 2011. I still would have put him up regardless of me ever getting to Japan, simply because I'm nice like that. He wants to see NYC for a day or so and seeing the trend in how americans treats anyone who doesn't speak english good enough to their standards, I might head up there with him.

I made enough room in the living to have enough space for the Wii and the PS3. Andrew got his collectors edition of Gran Turismo 5, so i know what he'll be doing on his days off.

I haven't really invited anyone over and so far so good. Go a lot of stuff done to say the least.

This holiday.. gah. Brings out the absolute worst in everything. Question that I ask myself every year.. How come atheists or agnostics don't celebrate Hanukkah, Yule, Kwanzaa, or any other holiday? Not just in December, but all year? I'm sorry. You will NOT tease and belittle me about my beliefs all year (in a fun way, they say) and then expect me to give you something at Christmas. I'm not that nice. Funny though.. most people that I now who claim to be whichever religion, (jewish or pagan usually).. never really celebrate it. choosing to do everything Christmas "to fit in with my family's wishes". Okay.. yes I get that, but how does one expect people to respect their choices if they keep giving in and denying a part of themselves? Be proud. Celebrate. Invite people over and let them see. Educate people rather than just pretend. It's fun removing ignorance. It really is. Makes you feel all warm and bubbly inside.

bubbly. that word rules.
