So, hmm, if S5 of #Community was repoliting S1 and we didn't see the true conclusion of S5 - because of the cliffhanger ending that hinges upon the JEFF LOVES ANNIE realisation - might S6 end with another Pascal's kiss?

Given that S5 is so short and S6 follows pretty quickly on the heels of it - and because both of them are both short seasons (right now, Yahoo, PLEASSSSE order more episodes?? I NEED MORE TIME WITH THE COMMUNITY CHARACTERS PLEASE I NEED A FULL SEASON OR *AT LEAST* 18ish EPISODES) it makes sense for S5 to be written as "Part 1" and S6 to be written as the "Part 2" that brings everything to conclusions and important romantic resolutions for our favourite will they won't they couple, Jeff and Annie. ;)
And yay, I replied! I've been meaning to comment on that post for a while but keep procrastinating because of our mails - also I'm almost through reading this entire comm *is sads* :'( :D - but I am going to reply to all of them or maybe half of them if I can tomorrow!
Aww, I'm glad you like the title! Gosh, I LOVE that Love Handel song and it's so perfect for Jeff and Annie! And I'm glad you're excited :D (No worries! I understand that you're busy, and since it's pretty relaxed in the M/M comm right now there's no rush for anything to be on a schedule of any sort so take as long as you need. :))

(also, on an aside, I reaalllly think we need jdp1979 to comment on the new episode discussion thread since I think some of the female commentators on that thread are not realising that Annie never really seems that long-term bothered by Jeff's dismissals/rejections of her - BECAUSE SHE'S AS SELFISH AS HE IS - and I feel kinda at a loss trying to postulate my own pov that gives both Jeff and Annie a fair chance because it feels like no on in this comm WANTS to give Jeff a fair chance right now :/
Also, is it just me, or do you get the vibe that they're trying to put me down over my opinions? I've been getting that vibe and don't like it :/)

I know! It makes it even better that Joel McHale was in PnF briefly too. :)

I don't think they're trying to put you down-- I think they're being critical and it's coming across that way. I'm sorry you feel that way though :(. (Don't worry, I support you!!)

I wish they would comment! I really enjoy their comments on the episode rewatch discussions and it surprised me that they haven't commented on this new set of episodes already. (ps. I think jdp's another guy!)

True, being critical usually does have a tendency to come off (unconsciously) as putting someone else down, which is the problem here I think. (I also think they're being too critical/analytical and missing some points, which doesn't help matters) and it still makes me feel awkward to respond again with my own arguments since I just feel like no one wants to *hear* them. :/ (And thanks for your support! <3)

I'll be replying to that post and our meta discussion over at your LJ. By the way, have you seen the new meta I've posted about S3, namely "Urban Matrimony" and the link to the news article that mentions a wedding episode in S6? :)

Hehe, I already made sure to watch his PnF episode (if there's another one, I will make sure to watch it as well, but I think he has only one role in PnF) and it was soooo hilarious how Joel as the Norm prototype is still basically playing Jeff, since the Norm prototype sounds just like sarcastic grouchy Jeff. (This also explains how McHale does pretty well at voice-over roles - well, him and Alison - since even if he was only on PnF briefly, he showed a knack for it in that episode and that's why he sounds possibly the most organic in "Digital Estate Planning")

Hehe, well I've thought about hashtagging #sixseasonsandmoreepisodes on Twitter, but I'm not sure how best to propose it. I think taking ideas to Reddit might be a good idea or we could discuss the idea with Nevr0s, who started the Twitter hashtag #sixseasonsandanannie when we were all worried that Alison might not be returning.

Haha, it's okay. I've been thought to be a guy for so long on my time on the net, and there's so many females in this comm I bet most men get confused as females until the realisation sets in. Oddly enough though, I think the male shippers are beginning to outnumber the female shippers in this comm since it feels like they're the ones mostly giving their thoughts on the episode rewatches, and it's really lovely too how a lot of the male shippers are so protective of Annie as well. Yes, I loved seeing those comments and how it was pointed out that being critical for the sake of being critical can lead to some short-sightedness.

I should probably rewatch that one too if only to prep for my Community/PnF fusion/crossover fic. On top of that, the Love Handel episode is one of my absolute favourite PnF episodes (it was that one episode where I really began to love the show when I was marathonning it a few years back in 2011ish) and I just love the song in it too! (PnF has some really great songs and other shows should be jealous).
And haha, I did the same (the ep is Candace Disconnected, just as a reference) and I find it soooo hilarious how much he sounds like Jeff as that prototype. And both him and Alison are such great voice actors! Alison does such a good job as Unikitty in Lego Movie, and she's able to change her voice so well you wouldn't know that it was Annie Edison behind that little kitty princess at all.
