I'm back from Singapore! W00t!
I've been feeling lazy, and so didn't really want to type up a report half as detailed as my first one. That said, I'd like to remember a few things...(
In which I go on my first utterly unremarkable date, regret college, and give new meaning to 'Teh_stupid, it burns.' )

i totally wish i was in singapore when you were there! i could have taken you to my usual haunts! - which hotel did you stay at? and yes, that rainbow building is atrocious, but s'poreans were never really known for their fabulous design skills.... (the "durians", ahem)
anyway.
glad to hear you made it one piece!
heart heart and snickers about the date... (sorry, inevitably amusing, but tortuous, i imagine!)

I stayed at the Swisshotel in Merchant Court, right around Clarke Quay. I'll probably be going back once or twice more to take a few more classes. W00t. (And I take the classes in Singapore and not in Taipei because I can't do computers in Chinese. XP)
I don't know if the rainbow building is atrocious --I just suddenly felt like a first grader who should be shuffling along in rows of two behind an aide or teacher. O_o It was a bizarre sensation, to say the least.

kinokinuya on orchard was definitely one of my usual haunts - as was borders and hmv. as far as i know, my family still hangs out there quite often, but chances of you running into them if you're there aren't insanely high. man, oh man, how i wish i was there when you were!

Also, saw Pirates II, thought of you and wished I had seen it with you. Triangles are so much more fun when someone understands the giggling. That and my father can only appreciate so much, "But there were handcuffs and that was so hot...." ::laughs:: And nice to know that there is YGO randomness in a place like that, heh.
I had more to say but my brain just blanked. Maybe if I get lucky, I'll do something productive and make a real people post of my own.

Oh god, POTC...before they started the trailers and commercials, some theater staff dressed in elaborate costumes acted out a pirate and damsel skit. Not kidding. Oh, SO PAINFUL. I saw it with my family, and my cousin and his mom (the one I get weird vibes from, yes?).
Oh, I kept laughing and giggling and thinking,"This would be so cracktastically better with Joelle." *sigh* The teens sitting the row in front of me grumbled about the 'loud foreigner' at one point, so I tried to tone it down. Silly things wouldn't know subtext if it bit them in the ass! *sigh*
