I'm not doing the Nova thing. No health insurance + basic interview pragmatic impossibilities = looking elsewhere now. Laura sent out a thing about working as a legal secretary. I'm tempted, but I wouldn't be able to start until July, if then; yay for being out of the country. And do I want to be a legal secretary?
I wanted to email Cosmopolitan and ask why they don't have a regular feature on travel tips/locales/etc, but then figured they would more likely have a webforum for that sort of thing. Then, through a series of lightning fast logic leaps, I thought, How cool would it be to be a travel planner who only does female fun getaways?
Then I came back down to earth. I'd rather be a Disney vacation planner, because that's more fun.
Next Tuesday is my last day at the dean's office. I'm going to miss it --for all the craziness, I couldn't have asked for nicer people to work with, better perks, or a better selection of free cookies. (Pepperridge Farm PWNs my ass.) *sigh*
And...Happy Birthday
terremotia! You're still the youngest grad student I know. :p Oh, you crazy crazy people with actual goals for your life.
